Eligibility Rules and Terms and Conditions of Entry
In order to be eligible to apply for a Hello Tomorrow Fund award:
> You must be 18 years of age or older.
> You must be a legal resident of the United Kingdom.
> You must not be an employee, or an immediate family member of an employee, of Avon or of The Chronicle & Echo/Johnston Press media group or companies or of any agency associated with this promotion.
> Your application must demonstrate how a Hello Tomorrow Fund award will help to empower women to expand their horizons and realise a bright future.
> Your application must fall within one of the following categories:
Awareness and Education
These awards must be used to educate and inform people in Northamptonshire about an issue that affects women and/or to share with people in Northamptonshire your personal experiences of this issue in order to inspire and empower other women and ultimately have a positive impact in this sphere. Awards can include health, welfare, family, sport, environment, lifestyle.
Community Service
These awards must be used to set up or expand a not-for-profit project or programme in Northamptonshire to help women fulfil their potential, overcome adversity or support a common goal. Projects of almost any nature will be considered as long as the criteria are met to help and enhance women's role in the community.
> You must submit a complete application and answer all application questions for the category in which you are applying.
> Your application must demonstrate how the award will benefit individuals beyond you and your immediate family members.
> While Avon Representatives are eligible to apply, submitted programmes or projects must benefit the broader community as outlined above and in the Selection Criteria and not be intended to enhance an Avon Representative's business and therefore benefit Avon.
> You may submit only one application for an award per monthly award cycle (see Awards Schedule). Award winners will not be eligible to apply for further awards.
> Applications from one monthly award cycle will not carry forward into subsequent cycles but you may re-submit an unsuccessful application in a subsequent cycle. Once submitted, applications become the property of the Hello Tomorrow Fund and will not be returned.
The following Terms and Conditions of Entry also apply:
> The Hello Tomorrow Fund will make two awards each month for a period of 12 months. One of £3000 and one of £300 provided applications meet all specified criteria. Avon reserves the right to withhold any award if there are insufficient entries or the entries are of insufficient quality in any given period. Avon reserves to right to carry any unawarded funds over to the next award cycle if there are no suitable applications.
> Awards will be provided in the form of a cheque. Award winners are responsible for any costs or expenses associated with implementing their application that exceeds the award provided.
> The closing date for entries is 23.59pm on the last day of each award cycle. No application will be valid after that time for that cycle's award.
> Avon is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete or illegible applications or for problems with entries caused by any other factors outside Avon's control.
> A panel of judges will convene each month to consider applications for that month and to decide the winner(s) using pre-set criteria.
> The decision of the judges is final in every situation and no correspondence will be entered into.
> Monthly award winner(s) will be informed by Avon within two weeks after the relevant closing date.
> Awards must be used for the purpose(s) specified in the winner's application, and cannot be deferred, although the Hello Tomorrow Fund reserves the right to change the award in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
> Avon reserves the right to require updates and supporting information on the implementation and progress of each award winner's project.
> Acceptance of an award constitutes permission to use the winner's name and the nature of application for promotional purposes in any media without additional consultation and the winner also agrees to participate in promotional activity which the promoter deems fit.
> The name of each month's award winner(s) will be available 21 days after the relevant closing date by visiting www.avon.uk.com or by sending an SAE to Hello Tomorrow Fund, Avon Cosmetics Limited, Nunn Mills Road, Northampton NN1 5PA.
> Submission of your application for an award signifies acceptance of these Eligibility Rules and Terms and Conditions and your agreement to be bound by them.
> The Hello Tomorrow Fund reserves the right to hold or cancel an award in the event of non-compliance with these Eligibility Rules and Terms and Conditions.
